It astonishes me that the Arizona Republic recommended Amanda Reeve for the Arizona House, especially in light of Laura Roberts campaign about de-kooking the legislature. Don’t they look at voting records? Amanda was right there with all the kooks – sometimes leading them. For instance:
In 2011 and 2012 Reeve voted Yes on the bill authorizing the carrying of concealed weapons on college campuses. This year she voted to require federal agents to notify county sheriffs of their actions, and she voted to take $2 million of state park money for legislative boondoggles. Even our Governor vetoed all four of these nutty bills.
This year Reeve voted to ban abortions post 20 weeks with no exception for health of the mother or fetal anomaly. The bill includes criminal penalties for physicians. She voted to allow employers to refuse to provide contraceptive coverage. She voted to allow doctors not to inform pregnant women of prenatal health issues. Popularly known as “Let Women Die.”
She voted to steal $50 million of the mortgage settlement and use it for our legislature’s pleasures.
This isn't kooky? Maybe the disease is spreading.
